Cragside Modern Foreign Languages at Cragside
In Key Stage 2, we develop an interest in learning other languages and introduce our children to the French language in a way that is enjoyable and stimulating.
We aim to encourage children’s curiosity about language and equip them with the confidence and skills to understand the main points in spoken and written language.
We firmly believe that learning a language is a life-long skill which opens up avenues of communication as well as promoting, encouraging and instilling a broader cultural understanding.
